Do you mean haggis? It's not the guts as in contents of the intestines but a sausage like mix of meats, grains, herbs and oats cooked in the stomac of a sheep. Not unlike American bladder chicken... guess what that's cooked in?

Besides, some American food is worse, eaten a wormburger at McD's or had a hot dog from the floor of the Armor plant lately?

And you can get a deep fried Mars Bar at any State fair now days.
