There ya go! I'd love to know how it turns out! I like haggis, too. Did you know you can buy it canned? I've never tried it that way so i can't tell you how good it would be.

Recipe for haggis....take one rifle, go into the mountains of Scotland..wait for a haggis to come running at you and then shoot it. Pull off its legs, boil it for one hour then peel off the skin and let the entrails burst out all over the plate, pour on some whisky and eat....

Failing that, leave our protected animals alone and buy a vegetarian haggis, which tastes much better..!!!

I am splitting my sides laughing here Elmy...you are bad...lol

Seriously now...I have to agree that the vegetarian one tasted better
than the other !!

Before someone reminds me that I am a vegetarian and would say what
I just did, remember not always been a veggie !!

First of all I'd like to say I love it here! As for what I think of Haggis, I tried it for the first time when I went to Ballingry, Fife to visit a friend for 2 weeks. I had it deep fried with chips and it was so good I had it again the next friday they ordered from the shop.My friends parents..who I was staying with looked at me in amazement and said they were really surprised I ate all of it, and they thought most Americans would stick their nose up at it but I just look at it as what it is..food, and if it's cooked I'll eat it..well I don't think I could eat worms or bugs and I won't eat caviar or snails..now to me THAT'S disgusting..fish eggs and slugs bleh!
