Question Windows 10 ??

I installed it on my Acer laptop and after a few weeks removed it as there were so many things that I was not happy with !!

I did so many hours researching before I took it off but it still took ages to get there and after that I had to re-install
certain programmes that it deleted.

Am now happily back with my older 8.1 !!

I am however thinking of putting it on my Dell laptop so wondered if anyone has any advice that might make it easier
to use, the Dell is not my most used laptop !!

I've only heard negative things about Windows 10, doesn't seem to matter which brand it's on.

Was talking to a computer guy today and he has said that the best time to load Windows 10 is to a
new computer that has hardly anything on it !

One of my nephew's loaded it on his laptop and within a week virtually everything was freezing
and like me it took him ages to roll back to earlier version !!

His brother told him not to load it and was proved right and keeps letting him know

ye id wait till the beta version has run its course really.

too many bugs on it at the moment and the privacy setting are just shocking, like anyone on your network can access your passwords and history etc etc.

plus i could hardly find anything, even windows explorer(now called edge) asked me to pay for it before i used it.

I haven't risked trying Windows 10 yet. I sort of intend to try it because if it does Very Bad Things, if the worst comes to the worst, I have a computer that died in Windows terms but I can use running Linux Mint, but I'm still waiting for the right moment of bravery to try it.

Seeing other wiser people like all of you having trouble with it is quite worrying.

That seems excessively sneaky even for Microsoft.
