Hey! I'm a McClintock too! I've been trying to find out more about the last name and where we are from also. The only thing I know besides we are associated with the Colquhoun's, but I believe when we came to the U.S. they settled in Lyons, Kansas. Weird huh? If find anything else out, let me know!

Colquhoun.
COLQUHOUN Hope this helps a bit Motto: Si je Puis (If I can) Origin of name: Place name, Dunbartonshire During the time of Alexander II, in 1241, Humphrey of Kilpatrick was granted the lands of Colquhoun in Dunbartonshire by Malcolm, Earl of Lennox. From here stems the first usage of the name Colquhoun, with Humphrey's son, Ingram taking it for his surname. Sir Robert Colquhoun procured Luss, on Loch Lomond, around 1368, through marriage. Since this time, the chieftainship has been known as being of Colquhoun and Luss. The MacGregors raided Luss in 1603. This resulted in a bloody battle at Glen Fruin in which five hundred Colquhoun men were defeated by four hundred MacGregor men. Consequently, this meant the poscription of the Clan Gregor. It wasn't until the eighteenth century that the two clans settled their differences. The Colquhoun family is now seated in the grand mansion of Rossdhu. Marhar
