The Orr Clan?

Well, besides me and my family.... I have read us Orr's are from the Campbell clan- Also the Macgregors, but the more I read it seems the Macgregor alliance does not seem to be a s solid as the sept alliance to Campbell? Has anyone come to find this?

I know exactly what you mean. The fact of the matter is the Campbells and MacGregors were mortal enemies. They never really had an alliance. However they were from the same area/ part of Scotland.

I have always been under the belief that the Orr clan was associated with the Campbell clan and that we carry the same tartan as the Campbell s. Being from a smaller clan the Orr's joined alliances with the Campbell s way back in the day! Please correct me if I'm wrong.
