Can I be a Chief?

Sorry to revive this old thread. However, after searching this wonderful technology, I have stumbled into this realm. After reading a few posts from different sites, it seems as though I have been backing this Steven as a chief although I had no knowledge. Now that I'm aware of the situation, I stand to challenge this man who has used my last name in saying the Akins people support him! Seeing that we are both Americans shall we take a vote from all Akins? Or shall there be a duel of sorts? After it is over, I will resign this designation to the land of Scotland! For it is Chief and will outlast any mortal man!

Thanks,
Keith Akins

The man is proven a liar and a forger.

There is NO 'Clan Akins' recognised bt the Lord Lyon.

He has the name.... Just not the grandiose ancestry he has claimed for so many years.
