There is no, nor has there ever been, a Glencross clan or tartan.

jon, interesting old name, origin Dumfries-shire, from the lands of Glencrosh near Moniaive, a Thomas, born in Annan, mid 1400s, John & James Glencorse, followers of the Earl of Cassilis, respited? for murder 1526, Andro Glencorse in Pierstoun was burnt for poisoning & adultery in 1580, and John Glencorse of that Ilk was murdered at Gribtoune in 1581. Another family descend from a Johannes de Glenkrosh , a cleric who witnessed the sale of a tenement in Gouertun in 1317, this is probably derived from Glencorse in Midlothian. From "Black's surnames". Forget the tartan, the real stuff is more interesting.
wullie.
