looking for my family

Hi my name is JOHN BELL and i live in New Zealand and i am trying to trace my family back to Scotland my great grandads name was George Archibald Bell and my Grand fathers name was George Archibald Bell i am not 100% sure but i think our clan is Bell from MacMillan i think they came from the Edinborough area i will send more detailed info when i get it from my father until then if there is anybody out there that feels they may be able to help me i would appreciate it very much and may you all have a happy new year your new contact John Bell from New Zealand.

good to see another Bell out there,have you had any more information from your dad?I live in Australia now but run the Clan Bell Society with my brother and others in Scotland.If you have any documentation try going back from your Dad through "Scots Origins"out of Edinburgh House.You know you do have a clan Bell orgonisation called clan Bell Australia and New Zealand whose presedent is June Bell Freeman out of Perth Australia and she has helped many Bells get together.If you need more info contact me .I go under the name of Rose on this site and under the title "contact"
