I have researched my family (Morrison) to Ireland circa 1600. Before that no info, after that, to England and USA.
My branch settled in New Hampshire. I did find a refrence to Clan Morrison at the Clan Donald Centre on Skye. very interesting stuff cuz My mom (a Lewis) married my dad ( a Morrison) and from the info at Clan D, the two clans didn't always get along!

I am a Morrison from Winnipeg Canada but was born and raised on Prince Edward Island Canada. My ancestory came from Gramisdale, Benbecula,Inverness-shire Scotland and immigrated to P.E.I. in 1831.The name of my great-great-great grandfather was John Morrison who married Christina MacPherson. He was born circa 1800 and they came to P.E.I. in 1831 with their son Donald. I thought you may add to this or point me in the right direction to find out more about thr Morrison.Thank you . Sincerely Yours; David Morrison

Tha gu math? Hello everyone? My name is Jolie Morrison and I'm from the lovely island of Cape Breton.I have to state that I to have heard that Morrison's have come from Ireland too. Check out Donegal,Ireland, cause that is where I heard there are strong Morrison roots. We allied with Clan Mac Leod and thererfore wear their tartan for we did not have our own although now we do. I live close to the Gaelic college and would love to hear from people with similar interests. All I really know is that my people come from the outer Hebrides. Contact me at jomo@auracom.com
