The Young Clan.

So, the Young Clan.
Is anyone else a part of it?
Does anyone actually know our history?
All I know about my Clan is the motto, "Robere Prudentia Prestat" which means "Truth and Wisdom before all".

No, sorry.
I couldn't find much on the Youngs - but there is an American/Canadian website offering some info on the 'Clan'
Clan Young

It would appear (from my very cursory search!) that there is no clan chief, therefore I suspsect the Clan mentioned above might be a clan society?

Try Rampant Scotland Directory - they are a fairly good source of info.

Forgot to say: Young is a fairly common name amongst Scottish gipsies.

Did I SAY you were a Gypsy? Nope, didn't think I did.

Judging by your accent, you'll be from Fife, Alabama?

Edited to add: I should have said Fife, Washington... not Alabama!

Lol.

The thing about names like Young is that it's impossible to know if you descend from Scotland, England or where ever else unless you do your family tree, there are an abundence of 'Youngs' in Wales and i would bet 'Young' is frequent also, it is prevelent allong the east coast of England aswell.

Plus if you are infact American, Dutch and German names like 'De Jung' and 'Jung' and a load of other variations were changed to Young/Youngs.

I was born in Dundee in Scotland.
I live in North East Fife which is in Easterly Scotland.
So I'm not American. I'm a pure bred Scotswoman.
