Scotsites, I am sorry to laugh, but I did get a kick out of your answer. Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate it very much. I had not given much thought to the "wool factor". I probably should, as I am slightly allergic to wool. I guess I may need to look into some type of a lining for me to prevent one terrible public display of personal scratching...
Thanks for your honest answers and I hope to hear from you again sometime. I have never been to Scotland. I want to go so badly. I made a promise to my father that one day I would go there and trace our lineage. He always wanted to go, but he never go to see his dream through. I will do it and it will be before the end of this year. Can you tell me when is the very best time of the year to visit there? I plan to bring my son and daughter, and their son and daughter. (My son made me a grandson, and my daughter gave me a granddaughter. I am very proud and I am a man of my word, so I intend to keep my promise to my father, and the one I made to myself about bringing my own kids with me there. All I know is that we are supposed to be from the Highlands, some where near Inverson...(pardon my spelling). I am very proud of my family and of the heritage I have learned about thus far. Scotland is a very beautiful place, and long before I ever knew my Father, (my mother and he split when I was only a few months of age), I have been drawn to Scotland and never knew why. I met my father when I was 35 years old and he was very cool. I am grateful that I got to know him well before he passed away. I surely would have lost out if we had not met. Now I have a promise to keep.
Anything you could tell me about Scotland would be deeply appreciated.
Your friend,
Dan
