When Scottish on Mother's and Father's side, which clan?

I am new to this researching stuff.... I am actively persuing my geneology and am of Scottish descent on both my mother's side and father's side

and several times on my father's side, too.

my question is, if only by blood, I would belong to several different clans. How do I know which one I really belong to?

The usual order is that first priority goes to your fathers surname (or your own birth surname), then your mothers maiden name. Then I would think your paternal grandmothers maiden name, then your maternal grandmother and so on. the first one of these that you hit that is either a clan itself or a sept of one you should probably consider "your" clan.
