Farr clan

Hi, I'm looking for information on the Farr's. I believe they are from the Northern Scotland area.

Thanks,
Jason Farr

According to Electric Scotland, there is no such clan. Are they perhaps a sept of another clan?

In fact, a quick Google suggest that it's an English name - Link - although I've never had much time for the multitude of family-crest-and-associated-bric-a-brac type websites out there.

Jason ,
it is possible that you family name has been abbreviated and / or changed .

For instance , ' Farr ' may come from ' Farquharson ' .
