Certain parts of Scotland can have accents similar to Irish accents. The other day a southerner thought I was Irish when I am only from the Lochaber area of Scotland. That is quite strange. We do share a lot of culture though, especially in the west.

Well even today some Scots hate the English, however I wouldn't say today most do. Perhaps at the height of sttrained relations most Scots hated the English, I never have though, although I do not like the British state at all and resent their attempts to destroy our culture and colonize us.

I don't know but I have heard that the Campbell's were liked and not liked. A while back I was on a web site, and was reading, a story about I believe it was glencoe(i hope i spelled it right) any truth to this?
