Here's a little information from a website about the name James. Personally, I've always thought it was a Welsh name, but it would appear that it has many origins...

Yes - and I'm sure people will be happy to help you, if you start a separate thread asking the question, otherwise Michelle's thread will be very confusing as she wants to know about the surname 'James'

Don't be sorry - all boards have a different system, it's just a case of learning each type!

When you click into each forum on here - near the top of the left hand part of the screen you will see 'New Thread'... click on that, and as long as you are logged in, you can start a new thread yourself!

You would then give it a title like 'Clan Campbell questions'... and ask your specific queries - then wait for the replies to flood in
