any hermansons out there?

i'm trying to find out about my family history. a surname search told me that hermanson is scottish. my great-grandmother came from scotland. that's about all i know. any hermansons in scotland???

Hermanson is for shure a scandinavian name, rather than scottish. Try Sweden or possibly Norway or Denmark, although they would prefer Hermansen.
