William & Janet's son, James had son Charles who had daughter Martha who had son Willis who had son John who had daughter Vernorma who is my husband's grandmother. So, apparently we're cousins...by marriage at least!

Janet Grant's parents were William Grant & Janet Brander, married 6 Feb 1669 at Drainie Presbyterian Church, Moray Co., Scotland.
