Question
Can any one help? I'm looking for any information on the name Harris and its origination. I've seen on several websites that it is a sept of Campbell. I am curious to see if there are any connections to the Isle of Harris and the McLeod’s. I have seen that at one point the Harris clan came from England to Ireland then around into Scotland from the Isle of Harris.

HI. MY NAME IS TONIA. I HAVE SOME INFO ON THE HARRIS NAME, BECAUSE IT IS MY LAST NAME. I WILL TRY AND HELP YOU IN ANY WAY I CAN. MAYBE YOU HAVE INFORMATION ON THE LAST NAME GRAY. IT WAS MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER'S LAST NAME AND HE WAS SUPPOSEDLY SCOTCH-IRISH.

hello There! it is 8;11 here in usa.I am looking for mcclead family. there are variations of the spelling but ours is mcclead. first ones came to usa in 1700 s...more later and good mornin to ya all !also have
price distant cousins.
