Just what is this "European Council of Princes"? Has anyone ever heard of it? What does it do? If, as I suspect, no-one has actually heard of it before or of its relevance to our daily lives I have difficulty accepting it as some sort of authoritative body. In other words, if it vouches for someone or something, so what? If the European Council of Alchemists (I've just made that up) is cited as an authority when someone claims to have piles of gold which he has personally manufactured from base metal I am going to be asking to see their credentials. An unheard-of organisation's endorsement is not very impressive.

Is any member of the immediate family of any current European Monarch (e.g. the King of Norway, the Queen of the Netherlands, etc.) a member of the European Council of Princes?

If that man who makes all the claims about the Holy Grail also endorses "Prince Michael of Albany", and Albany is known to be a fraud, it casts serious doubts on the rest of his claims, don't you think? He says A and B are true. It is well documented that B is false, therefore why should anyone believe what he has to say about A?

Hiya Furryboots!
It is another phony organisation which 'Prince' Michel has added to his impressive CV...

It has been thoroughly discredited - he claims that he took over the helm of the organisation from Archduke Otto von Hapsburg. Von Hapsburg refutes that he was ever part of any such organisation, so how could Michel Lafosse take it over? Another scam, used to prop up his ludicrous claims....

In Mr Lafosse's last moneymaking swing through North America, last year, he was publicising his latest tome, re Princess Diana - claiming that she, like him, was persecuted. The eejit was invited into Canadian and US schools in order to tell schoolchildren the 'truth' about the Scottish monarchy.

What I find absolutely frightening is that those self-same children will grow up believing absolutely in the tripe spouted by the man....

His 'partner' is a man called Gardner, the writer re the Holy Grail rubbish..... 'Nuff said?

He has claimed, variously, that he is under scrutiny by the MoD, the Foreign Office and that his request for a passport was denied because of his 'royal' status... he also claims that he was the subject of a 'D' notice.... pity the eejit didn't know what a D notice WAS.... The man is a fraud, pure and simple. No credence should be given to his claims which have been proved false by many.

The Council of Princes is another 'bogus', 'pseudo' organisation - the German princeling from whom Michel laFosse says he took over as 'head' of the organisation denies it categorically. No, I'm not going to look for it for you.

I am done trying to educate you. Perhaps if YOU had researched before writing such utter rubbish on this thread, you'd have saved YOURSELF the stress - personally, I'm under no stress, and neither would it appear, are the other Scots on here, such as Nonny, Marhar, Marti etc.
Are you a Historian Pol??? I would never have guessed...LOL
Had your blood pressure checked recently!!!!!!

Just one question. If what you say is true then this is extremely important information. In light of that, why did you refuse my first week full of requests for the information?

My advice to anyone seeking the truth is to seek referencable information and not to take what any one person says as some ultimate truth. Does anyone else here accept something as true just because one person says it over and over again? Would not your doubts be augmented when that person refuses to provide references? Me too. It is not I that refused your information, Polwarth; it is you that chose to banter for a week first about a subject you initially claimed to never had any interest in (pre 1600's Stewarts) and now that you choose to provide some references which, as I said I will investigate (which is more than I can say about your willingness to check out information that challenges YOUR worldview), we are all supposed to believe that you have been trying all along to 'educate' me.

Questions:

WHY did you refuse my first ten or so requests for this information?

Do YOU not request references to items that you doubt?

I hope for direct answers to these two questions without a change of subject but I have my doubts. If you do not though, then I am done with my attempt at simple communication with you and in that case, you are welcome to the last word as I am sure will please you.

normandebrus responds:

Were what Michael of Albany says true, that would necessitate a global conspiracy (go ahead - try and spin this into a statement OF its truth). Were such a conspiracy to exist, the very institutions implicated by this theory could not be expected to ENDORSE him. So we should judge the message, and research. To judge that a thing is untrue because the people implicated say it isn't defies logic and crediblity (and were it true, then it is a large part of the West's international political structure that is implicated). We should research and find out for ourselves, a thing I have said over and over here but of course, someone is bound to take exception to this. I wonder who?

This a matter of great importance to many people in the Western world (and if it weren't to any of you I would have never had any of these emotionally charged, blinded-by-rage responses here) so we should determine its truth or lack thereof. The alternative, as you have demonstrated, is akin to not trusting a leftist because someone on the far right said not to.

I demean myself and the very pursuit of knowledge that I attempt to champion by going any further here with people that have demonstrated clearly a lack of good intention with regards to this matter. I have failed again to find a forum in which this matter can be discussed rationally. Take your parting shots, all, because I no longer care.

Goodbye.
