Can you tell me if the surname Meanoiseanna is Gaelic, and if so what does it mean? Does the name of this town in Scotland, Mauchline have the same meaning?

i think that surname IS Gaelic, but i don't know what it means. if you email Fear nam Beanntan he might tell you cos he can speak some Gaelic.

i think Mauchlin is actually pronounced "Mawdlin" but i'm not sure.
