Hm. Or do it most scientifically:

1. define the term "Mac Attack"
2. look for examples of similar things in the past
3. find pros and cons of a Mac attack
4. decide if you are for or against it
5. give a scientific reason for your decision
6. decide what to do about it.

LOL

Smile mac attack

The tv adverts for McDonalds hamburgers used to talk about Mac Attacks, when you would have this uncontrollable desire for one of their cheeseburgers or something so I guess I'll take a cheeseburger please.

*boo, hiss* OK ok, I know that was lame! LOL!

Holly, I am STILL looking for my Daniell family history book! Don't think I've forgotten about writing to you. That blasted book has to be around here somewhere....
This is what i get for trying to clean the house.......

Well, I actually thought of the famous higland charge, you know, but a Mac Attack like this, maybe I should give it a try next week when university starts again and go round for some cheeseburger stuff. Maybe I'll have a Mac Attack then, too. It wasn't lame, not at all, normally I just get a Doner attack (this is Turkish round and very flat bread (bit like soft mexican wraps) in which they wrap salad and crispy meat with garlic sauce. Yummy! From time to time I just NEED it. LOL

a chuckle to you both!

Yes... how about the history of Mac attacks? On what field of battle did they take place? In days of old on some green and rocky field against the Campbells, I suppose... or the Brits... but today the battle is Scotland trying to maintain it's cultural identity against the onslaught of American and other commercialism. McDonald's be danged!

Thank you Susan for posting again. I was wondering and thinking of you. I am going to Aberdeen, Scotland in about a week. I'm not prepared but perhaps I can do a little Daniels research there. There is an historical society there.

The Daniels one-name research project

Did I tell you there is a DNA project to determine how closely Daniels & Daniell are related? They are requesting male Daniels and Daniell...s to participate and discounted DNA testing rates. I just sent this link to my cousin Don Daniels who also researches family genealogy, too. I'm hoping he will participate. I don't think I could convince my brother to even if I paid for it. (the hardhead!... "Daniels aren't stubborn, they're determined!") The genealogy info at this site (for Daniell) looks closer to your line than mine. It's likely your family first landed by ship in New York and went south. Mine are among the few Daniels that landed in Boston and went Northwest (eventually to Minnesota.)

Here is the link:

Enjoy... and keep looking for that book!
