Coming to Scotland!

I'm from St. Louis, MO in the USA. I'm going to be in Scotland with 5 of my girlfriends on July 20 with Globis tour group. We will visit Edinburgh on July 24 evening through July 26 morning. I've been wanting to visit Scotland for many years, my father's side is from Scotland and mother's from Ireland. I can't wait to get there.... We have free time in the evenings, what would you suggest that we do for fun in Edinburgh? Hope to hear from you...Pat
