Their is no "Neathery" clan we are from the Graham clan. Our ancestors were border reivers, clansmen who guarded the border between England and Scotland, and pushed the English back over. Charles warned them if they didn't stop they would be kicked out they didn't and were exhiled to Ireland; northern to be exact I believe west of Belfast. Our family took the name of the area we were from, the Netherby area, Netherby hall is part of that as was Mudgock castle near Sterling. The exhiled snuck back in and continued their rebellion against the crown and were told to leave except this time if they come back they die. They left, went back to Ireland and from there went to America starting in the late 1600's and early 1700's settling mainly in Virginia. I hope this helps.
