I would whole-heartedly agree. Men (or women) who don't compromise their ideals, morals, character, etc., are very easy to admire.

I'm a 34 year old woman. By no means do I suffer from a "father complex," and as a general rule am NOT attracted to older gentlemen. That being said, Sean Connery is very sexy. I would be hard-pressed to turn him down.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that the aforementioned men have paved the road to ridiculously easy sex for Scotsmen.

Far more than the sex issue, I think you're spot on. Confidence and being comfortable in one's own skin is extremely attractive to the opposite sex. Regardless of what part of the world one lives in, it's simply one of those universally attractive traits.
