Mick, you basically have four options for TV in Scotland:

1. Take the basic five channels through your arial;
2. Add a freeview box, which gives you a few more channels tho not much in the way of sport (other than Sky Sports News;
3. Subscribe to Sky (satellite), which, depending on the package you go for, will give you more sport;
4. Subscribe to Virgin Media (cable), which will also give you give you more sport depending on the package you go for!

So if you are seriously interested in sport then its either option 3 or 4 for you; the deciding factor may be whether you can get cable in the area you move in to! Personally I have cable through Virgin Media and while I don't subscribe to any sports channels I do get Setanta free with the package I have!
