I have a question that needs answering and this seemed like a good place to go (it may seem an odd question but Im Australian so it will make sense)
My wife and our family are thinking of moving to Scotland, specifically Fyfe, for family reasons, and we are just trying to get our heads around the huge change in culture it will be
I have a question for everyone regarding Scottish TV, and sport
I dont know if anyone here knows any Australians, but we love our sport, a lot, perhaps on the verge of obsessive
, and I was wondering what is the Television coverage of sport like in Scotland
eg Here in Australia we have 5 free to Air stations. These have some sports on during the week but come weekend there would be easily 50% of each stations broadcast just of sporting events, every weekend
Then if you can afford Pay TV there are another 7 channels of 24 hour sport
So what is sport on TV like in Scotland?
Is there pay tv providers set up? Do they have sports channels?
Heres the biggest stretch.....is there the odd game of Aussie Rules shown there? or is gaelic televised from Ireland?
