If Scots dump English at a time when the world is rushing toward it then you will see a decline in everything. Even the French are starting to embrace English. Notice how politicians like Sarkozy now speak English to the media. French politicians never used to.

Gaelic and other languages like Old English need to be relegated to the text books where they belong. The world has moved on. Nice as they are to listen to.
