I've seen black forest-type trifles.
Usually made with cherries/kirsch and biscotti soaked with some of the juice/alcohol as the first layer. Then a fruit jelly made with a basic jelly-mixture, flavoured with cherries. Then a chocolate custard, topped with whipped double cream and the top decorated with even more cherries/almonds.
So sweet, the thought makes my teeth ACHE.
