Wild's Trifles
Would love any of you experimenters out there to add your trifle recipes here....I have had alot of success with my recent whip up...
Wild's Trifle
Bake 1 Rainbow Cake Mix, when cool, cut it into 1 inch cubes
Use 2 large packages of instant vanilla pudding (will require 4 cups of milk to make up)
I whip up one litre of whipping cream
I use 1 large can of fruit coctail, drained...the next size up from the regular cans is best.
put cake into large glass bowl, put in the drained fruit coctail, pour the pudding over top, mix it a bit, then top with whip cream....
I did this at Xmas and everyone loved it...
So did I ...I am pushing onto 50 in March and after years of cooking and baking up a storm...I am getting smarter and wiser lol! No more slavery for this chickie!
Was wondering if anyone ever invented a black forest trifle...
I can see it now...chocolate cake, marachino cherries on top of whip cream, cherry pie filling and chocolate pudding ...but will work on this till I find out the perfect recipe....
Anyone have any more ideas?
