Tee hee hee, it occurs to me that **of course* anyone whose name involves "...fish" is going to have some interest in ensuring that cats are all well-nourished and not hungry. Not hungry enough to endanger wee fishes, anyway.

Yes, they do. An older cat gets a greater benifit tho. Not always the expensive stuff either, the cheaper own-brands seem to down just as well. Another thing my vet suggested was that I should mix a half-teaspoon of sugar into each bowl & once a day, a small pinch of salt in with it, as even with a liquid diet, an elderly/unwell cat can often get dehydrated. The sugar & salt helps prevent this & even though they can't taste it, the sugar gives them a welcome bit of extra energy.
Oh yes, I like fish well enough but preferably not so small & on the end of a tight flyline!

I often have to fight the cats off my catch when I get home as they are trying to get in the sink before I've finished gutting. The day after a meal of fresh fish sees them bouncing about like kittens again!
Here they are, Whiskers & Babes. Two rescue cats who were kept indoors & absolutely emaciated/terrified of people when I got them. Now they have their own outdoor territory with lots of stimulation, hunting, other cats to battle & are well socialised & even spoiled! Whiskers is a bit of a big coward tho, despite being the strongest cat I've ever known.

Hope Dribz is much better soon too.
