In an era of a lie:
in an era of this time
before the truth became a lie
lived a man who took retreat
in the lowliest of seat
and though it has been said
and often times been read
he once graced the town
that actualized his frown
sauntering about his way
fluttering songs so gay
of splendid knolls in bloom
and enchanting bells at noon
never did he know
as he bumbled through the flow
his song would prove a sigh
in an era of this time
before the truth became a lie!
now this time is but a pass
and all remains but his class
so this jeer I opt to share
for this [man] I elect to care
it was given, neglect of thought
a title remaining frilled with fraught
through a rumor of vainest deeds
for this [man] with special needs
so on a day of autumns zest
as a bird of song would flee it's nest
came a roar in form of tale
about this man who's mind was frail
frail it was, decayed twas not
yet, lo! his name is left to rot
despite his heart and simple mind
in an era of this time
before the truth became a lie!
