As regards the original post, I reckon that human rights need to be carefully watched in all countries, really.
In Scotland, a current issue, for example, might be that of the detention of asylum seekers, i.ie.

I know all about that been fighting my case for 6 years now , but if people want the wrong reactions then they have got to accept peoples oppinions. epeacially when they attach the english and dont for get half scott we did not take part in whats gone on in the past and we take it personal, because people like my self will do anything to help any one. so people should refrain from tying people to the same brush.
