I think most ethnic minorities are discriminated against no matter were you go in the world.. its human nature on'mass to hate what we dont understand.. what is different
and Glasgow is no different.. there is a large asian(indian, pakistani, chinese) presence in a couple of areas in Glasgow.. and of course they would say that they are not treated always with equal respect..and I would agree.. but within those areas the white people are the minority and they are treated with little respect from the Asian community.. I know.. I have witnessed and been a part of it many times... like i say we need few excuses or reasons to dislike someone..when I was younger I ran about in a gang...and we hated and fought regularly with the gangs round about us.. we all hated each other...we were all white.. if there is no ethnic reason.. we will make another..religion, street locations, some people from edinburgh and glasgow fight each other often.. accents..lol.. too short too fat... I am afraid its all part of the human condition.. both our weakness and our strength
