It wis Number 10, Glebe Street, they steyed (ah say steyed, STEY!) at. Wance they got in bit of a fankle wi the Glebes, who live at 10 Broon Street.
The Bairn an the Twins don't huv names, as is only right an proper. Ah'm no sure aboot the Bairn to be honest. Ah suspect she may be some scary auld Whitever-Happened-Tae-Baby-Jane kinna dwarf-type character. An the Twins kinna creep me oot a wee bit as well. Did ye know that wan ah the Twins is a lassie?
Ah mind in a second-hand bookshop in Glasgow, a very poash wumming causin a great deal ah puzzlement by askin if they hud any books aboot "The Browns" (ah kid ye not). Guy wis scratchin his heid until she said "You know, the Browns from the Sunday Post newspaper"... penny drops.
"Awww, the Browns!!!!"
