I am trying to locate any possible kin still living in Scotland. My grandfather (Richard Nicol) was born in Aberdeen in 1882. His parents were William and Barbara Nicol. Barbara had the maiden name of Barron. They were married in Old Meldrum June 17, 1871. My grandfather immigrated to Canada but his family stayed in Scotland. I also believe he had a brother (not positive) who stayed in Scotland also. Does this sound familiar to anyone out there?
