The Jazz Festival in Glasgow
The Glasgow Jazz Festival is sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland and runs for approximately 9 days during the month of June. Established in 1987, it is held at various participating venues throughout the city of Glasgow and it has a big following amongst musicians and jazz lovers from all over the world.
Each year the event attracts some of the best Jazz musicians from around the world. These top performers are carefully selected and their acts are scheduled so as to provide the best line-up possible. People flock to see them - and they are seldom disappointed. Many of the shows include comedy and conversation to make for an entertaining show.
If you are planning to be in Glasgow during the month of June, you'd be missing out if you didn't include some of the Glasgow Jazz Festival performances in your itinerary. The festival is of the best caliber and well worth any money spent.
