Glasgow Pubs - Scotland

After arriving into Glasgow Airport, from a flight that was far too long and a short search through the customs gate, you check into your hotel and the first thought that comes to mind is "I need a Drink!" As you look at the in-room guide you find that you have come to the right place. Scotland is not afraid of a good beverage and Glasgow is ready to accommodate the thirsty traveler.

The nightlife in Glasgow has something to offer any fun loving wanderer. If you want to experience a pint they way the locals do you will find a few pubs that keep the Scottish culture and tradition alive. From Gaelic speaking barkeeps to traditional highland music this town will fill your thirsty pallet to the brim. And for those who forgot to get a bite at lunch many of these pubs offer excellent Scottish cuisine as well. Order yourself some steak pie with potatoes and a good strong brew, sit back and relax with your new friends.

If you are looking for a little more energized atmosphere Glasgow has many nightclubs that play high tempo dance music into the wee hours. If football (soccer to those from America) is your game, than you will feel right at home in any of the area's pubs. It seems that most of the pubs in this town have a television tuned to the latest game. Remember to cheer for the local team and to tip the pub staff and enjoy your pub crawl through Glasgow.
